Jacobs Marketing Community Outreach Event - Happy Hour Squared
Giving back to the community is something that is very important to the team at Jacobs Marketing. In 2014 our “Outreach Committee” was formed to focus on planning events in the Twin Cities area, with the purpose of getting away from our desks and being able to volunteer our hands and hearts to a greater good. Over the last 2 years, we have raked lawns for the elderly, made blankets for Children’s Hospital, participated in Relay for Life, donated toys to Toys 4 Tots, and prepared/packaged food for Second Harvest Heartland and Feed My Starving Children. We look forward to sharing our upcoming events with our friends and colleagues!
Happy Hour Squared (HH2) Most recently, Jacobs Marketing participated in a volunteer event with an organization called Happy Hour Squared, which is, “Happy hour with a purpose”. So far, HH2 has made more than 15,000 sandwiches for the community. The sandwiches made at HH2 feed the hungry on the streets that very night! After collecting donations in the office, members of the Jacobs Marketing Team gathered to assemble over 725 sandwiches for the homeless population in Minneapolis and St. Paul.
