The remodel of Target's flagship store in downtown Minneapolis started in March and is scheduled to be completed by the end of summer. The store has remained open during the remodel process and guests have seen the gradual progress to a unique, timeless, and modern design. Much of the Beauty and Home areas are nearly ready and all we can say is "Wow!" From the moment you walk into these areas you know Target is ready for the future of retail. It's inspiring, easy to spot power brands, and make a truly enjoyable shopping experience. We are obsessed and can't wait for it to be completed!
Take a look at the new beauty area - the large monitors inspire guests with videos of beauty products. Goodbye to the red walls and hello to a modern gray with spot lighting that make products shine!
The new displays in the decorative home area create a unique and inspiration experience for guests needing to update their domestic style. By removing traditional shelving, larger items stand out more and can be paired with similar items. It's like Pinterest in real life!

Simliar to the women's beauty section, the men's section has a large visual display that promotes new products. Harry's shaving has a prominent section and lower tables highlight new upscale brands that you normally would find in specialty stores or online retailers like Birchbox. Updated signage gives a better description for new products and how to use them like beard oil or hair products. Guest are able to touch and interact with personal shavers and other products which drive a better purchasing decision.
